Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Process high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and timely payment processing.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices, credit memos, and statements accurately and in accordance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices and manage cash application processes.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and account analysis for AP/AR.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and collections.
• Assist in the verification of purchase orders and sales orders against invoices to ensure accuracy within the manufacturing workflow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP) and standard AP/AR processes.
• Proven ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles or inventory valuation.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in AP/AR workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
