Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Integrate embedded systems with existing factory automation, PLCs, robotics, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and implement real-time control algorithms for precision manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems on the production floor, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Optimize existing embedded solutions for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, production) to define system requirements.
• Develop robust communication protocols for data acquisition and control in industrial settings.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems development.
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and their peripherals.
• Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot hardware, and utilize debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, EtherCAT) and sensor integration.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level driver development.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
• Familiarity with PLC programming or SCADA systems.
