Salary Range: $87,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for critical quality issues.
• Develop, implement, and optimize advanced quality control plans, procedures, and inspection methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC), Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance product quality and process capability.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering to ensure quality is built into new products and processes from concept to launch (APQP, PPAP).
• Conduct internal and external quality system audits to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, predict potential risks, and drive data-driven decision-making for proactive quality improvements.
• Manage and improve supplier quality performance through qualification, audits, and ongoing monitoring of key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
• Demonstrated experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab).

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification.
• Experience with advanced statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning applications for quality improvement.
• Proven track record of leading global quality improvement projects or complex supplier quality development programs.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis and automation of quality processes.
