Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI).
• Collaborate with design teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Manage and execute pilot production builds, identifying and resolving critical issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from NPI to full-scale production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to product assembly and fabrication.
• Proven ability to manage NPI projects from prototype to production ramp-up.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, Control Plans).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process capability and yield analysis.
• Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
