Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Supervise and mentor shop floor employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
• Monitor equipment functionality, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure optimal machine performance.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards, inspecting work in progress and finished products.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to resolve deviations.
• Communicate effectively with management, other departments, and the shop floor team to ensure alignment and problem resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide shop floor personnel.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and quality control.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear instruction and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a manufacturing setting.
