Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of shop floor employees, providing guidance and training.
• Maintain equipment and machinery, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, initiating reorders as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to plan production needs, resource allocation, and process improvements.
• Ensure quality standards are met for all manufactured products, conducting inspections as necessary.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean Manufacturing certification or demonstrated experience
• - Advanced troubleshooting skills in a specific manufacturing process
• - Experience with production scheduling software
• - Forklift or heavy equipment operator certification
