Salary Range: $78,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits (on-site and remote) to assess quality systems and compliance.
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
• Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage incoming material inspection processes and disposition non-conforming materials.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure supplier readiness and part quality.
• Train and mentor internal teams and suppliers on quality requirements and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and risk assessment processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and analysis.
• - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• - Certification in ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar.
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools like 8D, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams.
