Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections according to blueprints, control plans, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills for identifying defects.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or vision systems.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
• Advanced understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software for data analysis and reporting.
