Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste and optimize material and information flow.
  • Implement Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Standard Work, and Kanban systems.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and improve productivity.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives.
  • Provide training and mentorship to manufacturing teams on Lean principles and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement lean production systems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills to identify root causes and drive solutions.
  • Proficiency in process analysis, time studies, and developing standard work procedures.
  • Excellent communication and training skills to effectively engage and educate production teams on Lean methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Minitab) for process optimization
  • Familiarity with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Background in automation, IoT, or Industry 4.0 integration for manufacturing processes
