Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments, ensuring proper coding.
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, deposits, and collections.
• Perform accurate bank and credit card account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring data integrity.
• Assist with payroll processing, including timecard review and related tax filings.
• Support inventory accounting, including tracking raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Prepare basic financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Proven experience with inventory management and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems common in manufacturing.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial data analysis and reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Understanding of basic cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing (e.g., COGS, inventory valuation).
• Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with inventory management and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
