Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, assigning tasks and overseeing daily operations.
• Operate, program, and set up advanced CNC machinery and conventional equipment.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, machine malfunctions, and program errors efficiently.
• Develop and optimize machining processes, tooling, and fixtures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide training and guidance to junior machinists on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and manufacturing plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Strong command of G-code, M-code, blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement tools.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including training junior machinists and overseeing project workflows.
• Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for complex toolpath generation.
• Proven problem-solving skills to optimize machining processes and troubleshoot production issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, laser scanners).
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Prior experience in fixture design or tooling optimization.
