Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program advanced CNC and manual machining equipment for precision part fabrication.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of machinists, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Oversee quality control processes, conducting inspections and ensuring manufactured parts meet exact specifications and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot complex machining issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and optimize machine utilization to meet production schedules.
- Develop and optimize machining processes, tooling selection, and fixturing for improved efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and support new product development.
Recommended Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in precision machining, including CNC and manual operations.
- Proficiency in G-code programming, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360), and blueprint interpretation with GD&T.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of machinists, ensuring productivity and adherence to quality standards.
- Expertise in machine setup, tooling selection, and troubleshooting complex machining challenges.
- Strong understanding of metrology, quality control processes, and shop safety protocols.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360).
- Experience with advanced metrology equipment and programming (e.g., CMM operation).
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodology experience.
- Expertise in specialized machining techniques or materials (e.g., 5-axis machining, exotic alloys).
