Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize welding processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement welding procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and techniques for various manufacturing applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis of welding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor welding personnel on best practices and new technologies.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure weldability of product designs.
• Manage welding-related projects, including equipment procurement, installation, and validation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in welding process selection, optimization, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of welding metallurgy, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency with welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, ISO).
• Experience with welding automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with robotic welding systems
