Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI).
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and qualify new equipment, tooling, and fixtures for NPI.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead pilot production runs, first article inspections, and resolve technical issues during NPI.
• Drive yield, quality, and cycle time improvements throughout the NPI phase.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from NPI to full-scale production.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proven experience with process development, validation, and optimization in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis) and statistical tools.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) for manufacturability analysis
• Knowledge of robotics and automation principles for manufacturing line integration
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to global supply chain partners (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish)
