Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice).
• Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely, applying appropriate sales tax and shipping charges.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and manage timely payments to suppliers.
• Apply customer payments, process daily cash receipts, and monitor aging reports for collections.
• Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments, verifying accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations for AP and AR accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes or payment issues with both customers and vendors.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume transaction processing.
• Experience with invoice processing, payment runs, and collections in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles or inventory valuation.
• Experience with sales and use tax compliance in a manufacturing context.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within AP/AR functions.
