Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for material planning, procurement, and inventory control.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
• Oversee warehouse operations, material handling, and logistics to ensure efficient flow and accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to forecast demand and synchronize material requirements.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to materials, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and competitive pricing.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the materials team (planners, buyers, warehouse personnel).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory, planning, and procurement functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, demand planning, and production scheduling methodologies (e.g., MRP, JIT, Lean principles).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Proficiency with advanced data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with global logistics and international trade compliance
