Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic systems and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
  • Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments of robotic components and end-effectors.
  • Modify existing robot programs (teach points, adjust parameters) to optimize production processes.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new robotic systems.
  • Calibrate robots and peripheral equipment to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and program changes accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in robot programming, teach pendant operation, and fault diagnosis/troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic PLC logic.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of robotic systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell)
  • Experience with industrial robot vision systems
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
