Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications for accurate measurement and inspection.
- Document and report measurement results, calibration data, and non-conformances according to quality standards.
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product verifications.
- Assist in the development and improvement of measurement procedures and metrology lab processes.
- Identify and resolve measurement discrepancies and equipment malfunctions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration processes, and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience with metrology software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
- Relevant technical certification or an Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience in manufacturing quality.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software (e.g., Minitab, Q-DAS).
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or GD&T Professional Certification.
- Experience with advanced non-contact measurement systems (e.g., laser scanners, structured light scanners).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
