Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and accurate machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and components for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure product quality meets specifications before production runs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or setup-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure correct machine configuration.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document setup parameters, maintenance activities, and any deviations or improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Proven troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving machine setup issues.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing equipment types (e.g., CNC machines, presses, assembly lines).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming or G-code.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
• Basic welding or fabrication skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
