Salary Range: $128,000 - $179,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking Controllers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights to management.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Lead the annual audit process, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and local laws.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support operational decision-making and business growth initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment
