Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation and control systems.
• Document calibration procedures, results, and equipment history accurately.
• Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP).
• Maintain calibration standards and test equipment in proper working order.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology).
• 2+ years of experience in calibration or a related technical role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1), and metrology concepts.
• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement equipment (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, calipers).
• Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Experience with calibration management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• IPC-7711/7721 or J-STD-001 certification.
• Experience with vision systems or optical measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming or troubleshooting experience.
