Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Estimators. Key Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Collaborates with engineering and production to gather necessary data for accurate bids.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope.
• Obtains quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Identifies and quantifies cost factors such as production time, materials, and labor.
• Presents estimates and proposals to management and clients.
• Maintains accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.
• Utilizes estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Experience with ERP systems and specialized estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., PMP, ASQ).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
