Salary Range: $113,000 - $162,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, and budget control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices in all engineering activities.
  • Implement new technologies and automation solutions to optimize manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Experience with new product introduction (NPI) processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing.
