Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Advanced Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement activities through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive improvements in the supply chain.
• Develop and deliver quality-related training to engineering and manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other quality tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, A3).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management system standards.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) is highly desirable.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
