Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Assembly Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train assembly line personnel.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain quality control standards and address any deviations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Optimize workflow and identify areas for process improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage inventory of parts and materials to prevent shortages.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MES).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and inventory management.
• Strong ability to train and mentor team members on new processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish/English) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
