Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Paw Paw that are seeking skilled Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Implements and maintains control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems into existing infrastructure.
• Develops and updates electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize electrical system performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
• Experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
