Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain specifications.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring efficient production flow.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning to optimize performance and longevity.
• Document production activities, including part counts, downtime, and quality checks.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in setting up and adjusting tooling, offsets, and workholding for complex parts.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for troubleshooting and minor edits.
• Experience with in-process inspection using various metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Knowledge of various materials (stainless steel, brass, plastics) and their machining characteristics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• CMM operation experience for quality inspection.
• Forklift certification.
