Demand Planner | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracy.
• Identify and address significant variances between actual sales and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to optimize stock.
• Utilize demand planning software and statistical models to generate forecasts.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to present demand forecasts and gain consensus.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP).
• Proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis.
• Experience in a high-SKU, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
