Salary Range: $47,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines, including tooling, workholding, and electrode preparation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Adjust machine parameters (e.g., power, pulse duration, gap) to optimize machining processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms, errors, and operational issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and 5S principles.
• Document production data, including run times, part counts, and any deviations.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators)
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment
