Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs and develops new products and product improvements.
• Creates and maintains detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborates with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Conducts design reviews and implements feedback for continuous improvement.
• Performs root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for design-related issues.
• Selects appropriate materials and components based on performance requirements and cost targets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Demonstrated experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, machining).
• Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for design validation.
