Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking Purchasing Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for raw materials and components.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of production materials.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents and buyers.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to forecast material needs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and vendor management
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies
• C.P.M. or CPSM certification preferred
