Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Six Sigma Black Belts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and project management.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis to identify root causes of defects and variation, and develop sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption and long-term control.
• Develop and deliver training on Six Sigma principles and tools to build organizational capability.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the application of Six Sigma and Lean principles across manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) with demonstrated project leadership.
• Minimum 5 years experience applying Black Belt methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive significant process improvements.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, proficient in Minitab or similar software.
• Track record of delivering measurable financial impact through Six Sigma projects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (AI, IoT, ML) and their application in process improvement.
• Lean-Agile or SAFe certification with practical experience in an agile manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior continuous improvement practitioners (e.g., Green Belts, Yellow Belts).
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies for new product introduction or process design.
