Salary Range: $81,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wyoming that are seeking skilled Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements for new product development.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reliability.
• Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions and other quality-related documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supplier audits, assessments, and drive corrective actions.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, welding, assembly).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
• Familiarity with advanced quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CSQE, CQE, CQA)
