Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Traverse City that are seeking Quality Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
• Lead and manage the quality control team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee inspection and testing processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve product quality.
• Manage customer complaint resolution processes, ensuring timely investigation, effective corrective actions, and communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to establish quality standards and resolve quality-related issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Strong understanding and application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Proven experience in leading and developing quality teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
