Quality Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Quality Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Analyze quality data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Proven ability to implement and improve quality systems and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and developing quality teams.
