Salary Range: $70,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grand Rapids seeking Quality Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control inspectors on testing procedures and quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and report on quality trends and improvements.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB)
• Experience with a diverse range of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, welding, coatings)
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R) for advanced data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members in quality methodologies
• Experience with implementing and maintaining Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
