Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage materials and tools for production runs.
• Calibrate and adjust manufacturing equipment according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions during setup.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Document setup processes, equipment settings, and any deviations.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize setup efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during equipment setup and operation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g., blueprints, schematics, work instructions)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in using an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for tracking and documentation
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
• Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechatronics, industrial automation)
• Basic programming knowledge for PLCs or robotics
