Salary Range: $39,000 - $59,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Experience with shipping software and barcode scanning technology

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack or Forklift
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management
• Ability to perform basic data entry and navigate shipping software
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
• Experience with international shipping documentation (e.g., customs forms, commercial invoices)
