Salary Range: $47,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Cadillac seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures for raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to shipments and receipts.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the role.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, specifically SAP
• Forklift certification (if not already a core requirement)
• Experience with international shipping regulations and documentation
