Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials and finished goods, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and creating shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests).
• Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock rotation and accessibility.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages in incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Operate computer systems to process shipping and receiving transactions and update inventory records.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and shipments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various types of lift equipment.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and related software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
