Quality Technician | Fremont, MI
Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality systems.
- Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots quality inspection tools and equipment.
- Assists in the investigation of non-conforming materials or products, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Conducts audits of manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure adherence to established quality management systems.
- Collaborates with production teams to implement quality control measures and improve product quality.
- Provides training and guidance to production personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in quality control or a related role within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Solid understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
