Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and screen candidates for a variety of manufacturing roles, including production, engineering, and quality.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate contact to offer extension and onboarding.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including ATS, job boards, and social media, to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate offers and close candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in manufacturing recruitment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to recruit for a diverse range of roles, from skilled trades to engineers and leadership positions
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and industry-specific challenges
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) specifically designed for high-volume or manufacturing recruitment.
  • Certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SPHR, CIR, CDR).
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for skilled trades or niche technical roles within manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to speak a second language common in manufacturing workforces (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
