Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Production Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production associates, fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve interdepartmental challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools, including ERP systems and production scheduling software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and control
• Strong background in safety protocols and regulations (e.g., OSHA)
• Ability to train and mentor junior production staff
• Familiarity with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting
