Production Manager | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking Production Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product standards.
• Manage production schedules, material flow, and inventory to optimize efficiency.
• Lead, train, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the production environment.
• Drive process improvements and lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing and mentoring staff.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and other production planning software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to support a diverse workforce.
