Salary Range: $67,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Production Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Supervise and train production line staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve interdepartmental issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and other production software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Minitab)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
