Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the finishing team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor product quality throughout the finishing process, identifying and resolving any deviations or defects.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Train and mentor finishing operators, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
• Manage material inventory for finishing operations, optimizing usage and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions and timely completion of orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes (e.g., painting, polishing, assembly).
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures relevant to finishing operations.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team of production personnel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
