Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the finishing team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor product quality throughout the finishing process, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet specifications.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
• Maintain and troubleshoot finishing equipment, coordinating with maintenance for repairs and preventative measures.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the finishing department.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
• Analyze finishing process data to identify areas for optimization and waste reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly).
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve production targets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot finishing process issues.
