The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Financial Analysts. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze production costs, inventory levels, and operational expenses to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and performance indicators.
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct profitability analysis for new products and existing product lines, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to understand financial implications of operational changes and initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel and financial planning software.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics and their financial implications.
• Certification in financial modeling and valuation analyst (FMVA) or similar.
