Logistics Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Logistics Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished goods delivery.
• Optimize inventory levels and warehouse operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight carriers.
• Implement and maintain logistics software and systems for tracking and reporting.
• Develop and execute strategies for improving on-time delivery and reducing lead times.
• Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS software
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage freight, warehousing, and inventory control
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
