Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Ludington seeking Help Desk Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
• Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and control systems.
• Document and track all help desk tickets, resolutions, and trends.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and IT teams to optimize system performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on shop floor IT equipment.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new technology for production lines.
• Train manufacturing personnel on the use of new software and hardware.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (e.g., desktops, printers, industrial equipment interfaces) and software issues
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment, including occasional exposure to noise or varying temperatures

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an industrial setting.
• Prior experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
